Polish is one of the most widely- spoken languages after them. The currency of the country is Euro. The national design of the coins is the Celtic harp decorated with the year of issue and the word "Éire".

Culture The island of Ireland has produced the Book of Kells, and writers such as George Bernand Shaw, Oscar Wilde, Oliver Goldsmith, Kate O’Brien, James Joyce etc.

Entertainment The most famous bands are: U2, Thin Lizzy, The Pogues, The Cranberries, My Bloody Valentine etc. Dance shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the dance come from Ireland.
