2 SAINT PATRICKS DAY Saint Patricks Day is the celebration of the anniversary of Saint Patricks death on the 17 th March. It is a public holiday in Ireland and it is also celebrated all around the world including Australia. It is tradition to wear green clothing. According to legend, Saint Patrick chased all the snakes from the island.
