Why train aerobically? Regular aerobic exercise can help you to have a strong heart When you have a strong heart, you feel active, healthy and energetic At the same time, it reduces the risk of coronary heart diseases and problems connected with ageing Stress levels during daily tasks decrease and you can work more effectively To achieve all these benefits, it is important to do workouts safely at the right intensity level

How training boosts fitness The body’s organs and muscles change in response to the demands placed on them By exercising at sufficiently intense levels, you can overload your cardiovascular system During rest, your body adapts to strengthen the cardiovascular system Over time, your heart becomes more efficient at delivering the oxygen and fuel required by the muscles to maintain this higher level of performance

Sample only! This is a sample presentation. You can get the full version at Full package includes: –full presentation (13 slides) –lesson plan with objectives, teaching ideas and plenary suggestions –question sheet for students. 19 other GCSE PE presentations and lesson plans also available.
