BIFS 2013 ACTION WEEK INTERNATIONAL SCUBA TRIP INFORMATION NIGHT

History of the Action Week Scuba Activity Been run the past 2 years as part of our Action Week Offerings Until now, the Scuba Activity has taken place here in Busan Led by Sea World Dive Center Busan Students have participated in the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course

2013’s Scuba Activity BIFS is expanding this year’s activity by offering an international trip to the Philippines! Trip will go to Mactan Island (in Cebu) Sea World Dive Center Busan will lead this trip with their sister company located on Mactan Island

Trip Details Dates: June 14 – 18 th, 2013 Open to BIFS Students in Grades 8-12 First priority will be given to those who have participated before. PADI certification not required for participation.

Our Location: The Palm Beach Resort on Mactan Island Sea World Dive Center Busan already runs trips to Mactan Island already Sea World Dive Center Mactan is located within the Palm Beach Resort on Mactan Island Sea World Dive Center & Palm Beach Resort offer an all-inclusive package

Our Scuba Program BIFS students will have three scuba options on this trip: – Open Water Diver Course Meant for students who currently posses no PADI certification – Upgrade to Open Water Diver Course Meant for students who currently posses a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification and would like to upgrade to Open Water Diver – Fun Dives Meant for student who possess PADI certification and wish for no upgrade.

Sea World Dive Center BIFS has a 2 year history working with Sea World Dive Center Led by Mr. Drew McArthur and the owners of the center Sea World Dive Center operates a sister company within the Palm Beach Resort.

Trip Itinerary Group will fly with Air Busan direct from Busan to Cebu June 14 th – Night flight June 15 th – All day dive activities June 16 th – All day dive activities June 17 th – Day trip/Reef Study, Night flight June 18 th – Early morning arrival in Busan

Activity Costs Costs depend on the program that the participant signs on for. Cost is an all-inclusive cost that covers: – Travel, including local transport – Accommodation & Meals – All Dive Fees and PADI registration & materials – Dive instructor fees – BIFS supervisor costs Open Water Diver Cost: 2,100,000KRW Upgrade Participant Cost: 1,900,000KRW Fun Diver Cost: 1,700,000KRW Cost is based off a group of 12 participants and is subject to change
