 Preference in employment must be given to American Indians, with a special priority given to American Indians with disabilities. 34 CFR (b) 3

Preference in hiring is given to qualified American Indians in accordance with Indian Preference Act. Applicants claiming Indian preference must submit verification of tribal affiliation or other acceptable documentation of Indian heritage (Title 25, U.S. Code, Section 472 and 473). 4
