Definite articles

The definite article in English is the. It indicates that you want a specific item. You want the book; not just a book. Dont forget that every noun in French has a gender. Like mustache.

Masculine nouns: le Feminine nouns: la Nouns beginning with a vowel: l Plural nouns: les These do not change in the negative!! You may also use these when we dont say any article in English.
