From the Literature Students report: they find LC valuable (Buxton 2006, Bassili and Joordens 2008) an improved learning experience (Ambikairajah et al. 2006) a useful enhancement which helps them achieve better results (McElroy and Blount 2006, Soong et al. 2006, Gosper et al. 2007) use of LC correlates with improved performance (although possibly not the only factor) (Yunus et al. 2006, Bassili and Joordens 2008) higher satisfaction with their course (Bassili and Joordens 2008) Students use LC for: convenience and practicality, note-taking aid, review and revision (Winer and Cooperstock 2002, Brotherton and Abowd 2004, Ambikairajah et al.2006, McElroy and Blount 2006, Simpson 2006, Soong et al. 2006) Students with disabilities seem to find particular value (Williams 2006) ELTAC Exemplars
