Using “a” after the conjugated form of the verb “ir” is talking about what is going to be done. Notes: ir + a + infinitive = future (going to do something)

Example: Juan va a jugar golf. What does this sentence mean in English?

The verb ir can also be used with the infinitive following. For example, voy means = I go. Look at the following sentences. What do these mean in English?

Have you ever been afraid of doing something, and then when you did it, it wasn’t so bad. Using the handout provided, write (in English) what happened at the beginning of the story (comienzo), in the middle of the story (mitad) and at the end of the story (final).
