2 Review of the verb Ir Voy- I’m going Vamos- We are going
Yo Voy- I’m going Nosotros Vamos- We are going Vas- You’re going Vosotros Vais- You’re going Él, ella, usted Va- He, she is going Ellos, ellas, ustedes Van- They are going

3 To talk about what someone is or isn’t going to do, use the present tense of ir with a followed by an infintive. We call this ir+a+infinitive. ¿Vas a estudiar?- Are you going to study? No, voy a descansar.- No I’m going to rest. ¿Van a salir?- Are they going to go out? Sí, vamos a comer. – Yes, we are going to eat.

4 To say that you are going to do something on a certain day of the week, use el before the weekday.
El sábado voy a ir de compras.- On Saturday I’m going to go shopping. Voy a descansar en el lunes.- I’m going to rest on Monday.

5 Practica Translate into Espanol I’m going to eat.
We are going to swim. They are going to run. He is going to sing on Saturday. Maria is going to skate on Monday. The students are going to eat on Tuesday. On Saturday, we are going to swim. I’m going to study. You are going to read on Wednesday? Juan is going to play piano on Friday.
