page Dr. Coggans sets up a meeting with Chris through his teacher Dr. Halverson. He came to talk to Chris about his son, Win, and what he could do to his family until he got Win back. 1. Why didn’t Mr. Coggans tell Chris about his connections with Georgia Tech earlier.
Settings –Pepin, Wisconsin –Jail cell –On the road –Hudson, Minnesota −Characters −Chris Collins- Win’s best friend, they are riding their bike cross country together. −Win- the friend who disappears, he finds a place for him and Chris to sleep, and scares Chris when he isn’t in the jail cell. −Toto- a bigger guy who is a policeman. −Cedric- a policeman whos’ hand is covered in small, fuzzy tattoos. −Deputy Lindt- the sheriff who helps Chris and Win find a place to stop and sleep for the night.
page After leaving Pepin, Wisconsin, Chris and Win entered Minnesota. They were looking around for where they were going to scamp and saw a St. Criox County sheriff’s car. Once Win talked to the sheriff, him and Chris went to the county jail with him and stayed the night in one of the cells. The next morning they left from the jail and got back on the road. 1.What was the real reason Win went to go sleep in the garage instead of staying in the jail cell?

They talked about Mr. Coggans and how he won’t give up.
