How to lead by example Omeegah smalls

Leading If you can not lead yourself, you can not lead others. Great leaders know what they want to achieve so they set long term goals and are passionate about achieving it.

Comittment continuum Resistant: cadets that have not bought into the units goals. Reluctant: cadet that gives half effort in anything they do. Existent: apathetic towards unit goals

Continued….. Compliant: cadets that do what their told but lack initiative. ( leader always has to supply motivation) Committed: cadets that do what is necessary to get the job done. Compelled: cadets that wont take a break until the job is done.

Obsessed: cadets that are willing to achieve a specific goal. If you want to have a chance to be an effective leader, you must be in the committed catergory.

You cant lead others to that place that you don’t want to go yourself. Being a leader is something you want to do, not something that you have to do.
