7 Habits These 7 habits are based on the highly acclaimed book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. East Elementary (K-2) has infused ideas from this book along with concepts from the program The Leader In Me into their model for helping new students transitioning into the school. Their approach not only helps new students adjust, but also builds anti- bullying skills.

The 6 th Grade Center has adopted a student led, student focused model for their 75 minute weekly leadership class. The goal of the leadership classes is to allow students to learn the decision making process while becoming good stewards of citizenship. 6 Th Grade Center Leadership Classes Leadership Committees Office Committee Library Committee Healthy Living Committee JS2S PBS PTS0 Military Appreciation Committee Safety Committee Recycling Committee Paw Pride Committee Mentor Committee Community Outreach Committee Tutoring Committee Mixer Committee Assembly Committee Sunshine Committee Wellness Committee Spirit/Teambuilding Mediation Committee Yearbook/Photography Committee Technology Committee Morning Announcements School News Committee Historical Committee Dramatic Arts Academics
