5 School Social Workers · Help process feelings that are making students stuck · Help assess students’ social and emotional needs · Help students understand how their social and emotional needs impact their academics and overall functioning. · Help students’ process interpersonal dynamics with friends and family · Provide advocacy with teachers when necessary · Provide access community resources based on needs

6 If you need to go to medical during the school day:
School Medical Office Rm. D107 There are two full time nurses in the Medical Office on a daily basis. There is also one part time nurse. If you are sick or need to ask a medical question these wonderful nurses would be the people you would talk to. Also located in the Medical Office, rm. D107, are two Adolescent Health Nurses. If you need to go to medical during the school day: In order for you to go to the Medical Office, you need to have a pass from your current teacher. To return to class from the medical office, one of the nurses will sign the pass that you came with, and then you can leave and go back to class. *You may also access your Primary Care Physician outside of school

10 Wellness Center The Wellness center is free for students; all you have to do is show your student I.D.! Wellness Center Hours ***Students: 2pm-6pm (Monday- Friday)*** Athletes: 3pm-6pm (Monday- Friday) Staff: 2pm-8pm (Monday- Thursday) and 2pm- 6pm (Friday) Community Members: 6pm-8pm (Monday-Thursday)
