2 Autism Scholarship Added new Student Status –Z – Autism Scholarship Program Participant Reported by resident district Deleted Program Code: – – Student is participating in the Autism Scholarship Program

4 Admission Reason Admission Reason will now be required to be reported in EMIS –It is already on the Student Demographic record –Tied to admission date Will only change when admission date changes –Reported for all students

8 Special Education Record Allow Special Ed Records from prior school years to be reported for newly enrolled student

9 Special Education Record – Continued Preschool students evaluated but found ineligible for special education services –Resident districts are to enroll these preschool students using the date of the Evaluation Team Report Date (ETR) for both the admission and withdrawal date.

10 Special Education Record – Continued October Reporting –Report events From 6/1 through December 1 Will be required for February Reporting –Report events 6/1 through 2/8 (Friday of State “Official” Count Week) Will be used in the Special Ed Weighted Funding calculation Allow Special Ed Records from prior school years to be reported for newly enrolled student

12 February Reporting 210xxx Program Codes will not need to be reported for February Report all CTE courses that the student is taking that are in session during the February Count Week. Reporting for all other CTE courses for the student is optional. Community Schools will not report the Building General Information – February record

13 Summer Graduates If a summer graduate because of passage of graduation test –The test administration date can be used for the diploma and withdrawal dates –OGT summer tests results must be reported during October reporting period (summer graduates only) If OGT Graduation Alternative used –Report element during October Reporting period

14 Preschool ECO Assessment New Preschool Assessment record: –ECO (Early Childhood Outcome) Report two assessments per year –October and Yearend reporting periods 3 records per student per reporting period: –E – Positive Social-Emotional Skills –K – Acquiring and Using Knowledge and Skills –T – Taking Appropriate Action to Meet Needs

19 Intent to Become Properly Certified Intent to be certified rescinded –Deleted “Intent to Become Properly Certified” element on the Course Master Record –Deleted option “2 – Declared intent to become licensed under HB 196” from the Certificate/License Application element

25 CTE Changes Deleted the Career Passport element Deleted the CTE Workforce Development Program Completer element CTE Concentrator –Adjust the Definition: Designates if a student has completed a minimum of 50% of the high school credits allowed for a single career-technical education (CTE) workforce development program and has enrolled for additional credit in the same CTE program.
