Ecosystem’s Location The Coral Reef is located in the Pacific ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.

Define Producers, Consumers, & Decomposers Producers are living things that make their own food. Consumers are living things that rely on producers. Decomposers are living things that get their food from dead plants and animals.

Examples of producers, consumers, and decomposers *An example of a producer is seaweed and sea cucumber. *An example of a consumer is a fish, sharks, dolphins and turtles. *An example of a decomposer is bacteria, moss and mold.

Living and Nonliving things An example of living things are fish, sharks, moss, turtles, crabs, mold, dolphins, seaweed and ect. An example of a nonliving thing is water, and deceased animals.

Life in the Ecosystems *Most of the animals in the Coral Reef are very territorial. *The coral reef is a type of ecosystems shaped by lime- stone formations. *Coral reef is a type of underwater enviroment shaped by limestone.

How living things meet their needs *Some sea animals meet their needs by eating other animals Some sea animals need air to live so they go up to the surface for air. Other sea animals need salt water to live to breathe in the water.

Amazing Facts There are coral reef eaters they eat coral, sponges and starfish. There are different species of coral, wich are fringing reefs barrier reefs and attols. The reef gets its energy from the sun.
