The animals in the our biome. The alpaca The chinchilla The mountain goat The vicuna The Andean condor The llama The snow leapord The Yak

The plants of the Alpine are… The Alpine Phacenia The Bristlecone Pine The Poly Lapis Forest The Wild Potato The Bear grass The Moss Campaign The Pygmy Bitteropt

Physical features of the Alpine are… Cold all year round Summer temp. is -12 degrees C and -10 degrees C It’s like a tundra, dry and cold At night it’s below 0 and freezzing

Where is the Alpine biome is located? It is located where trees can’t grow The biome covers about 60% of the earth.

The biotic and abiotic factors are… Tussock grass Dwarf trees Small leafed shrubs The animals Abiotic Temperature Sunlight Air Dirt

The adapted animals The Andean condor uses cliffs to fly Llamas have leather soles to protect from sharp rocks Mountain goats have round bodies to protect from the cold The snow leopard has a coat that lets them blend in with the rocks and snow. Vicuna has a thick round coat that traps layers of air close to the body.

Adapted plants Alpine Phacelia grow on rocky areas on mountains Bear grass grows after a fire in the ashes like a phoenix Bristlecone pine makes needles with barely any energy Moss campaign grows lower and higher than Alpine Poly lapis forest grows at altitudes of 4,500 meters

What we saw was… See Rocks snow Hear Wind Animals Smell The animals The plants Touch Cold Dry Taste Warm with fire

Were we happy? No were not happy. It was cold, dry, you could slip off a hill let gravity take you down until you fall off a cliff and die.
