It was a clear, sunny morning at Tunnels Beach, Kauai, where Bethany was surfing.

When everything went wrong………

Bethany was attacked by a 15 foot tiger shark, while she was a distance from land.

She was with Alana, Byron, and Holt Blanchard. They calmly took care of her, until the ambulance got there.

Her dad happened to be in the emergency room, so they had to clear him out to get her in.

They took her in and had to amputate her arm. Which put her at a possible risk of never surfing again.

Will she get to surf again ?

Will she have to find a new passion ?

What challenges will God put in front of her?

This will take a leap of faith and courage, and a lot of support from friends and family.
