Change of a Dress by: Maya Gold

Setting The setting is mostly at Diana’s Family Business named Cinderella Cleaners in New Jersey.

Characters Characters are : Diana Donato - Main Character Elise - Works at Cinderella Cleaners Catalina (Cat) James – Works at Cinderella Cleaners Nelson Martinez – Works at Cinderella Cleaners Jess Munson - Diana’s Best Friend Adam Kessler - The pop star

Main Character Diana Donato works at Cinderella Cleaners, Diana watches the clothes come and go. She loves to imagine the exciting events that the different outfits might be worn to. Diana’s two favorite things are Broadway and acting

Problem The Problem in the story is that they didn’t sell enough tickets for the school play of our town, so they didn’t raise enough money for the drama club.

Solution The solution is that, ever since Diana met Adam Kessler the pop star he told her to call him when she would like to see the Show Angel again. So, Diana calls Adam, and he gives her some tickets. The tickets Diana received from Adam for the show Angel were used to help the school. The school sold tickets for our town play and everyone who brought tickets for the play received a raffle ticket for a chance to win the tickets for the show Angel.

Major Event When Diana is going through a jacket at the cleaners and finds amazing tickets and cast party passes to the hottest show on Broadway, Angel, featuring Adam Kessler she desperately wants to go, even if it means borrowing a customer’s dress under repair. Diana must decide how to get to New York without her parents’ knowledge, get fitted for the dress, and hope that the owners of the dress and tickets do not show up to ruin her dream night.

Event With the help of some chic friends, one stunning dress, and a lot of improvising, Diana pretends to be someone she's not to be seen on the red carpet and make it into a party.

Event One day when Diana was working at the cleaners someone walks in. Out of all people it is Adam Kessler he jumps over the counter and follows Diana into the workroom. As Diana dodges around the full carts of laundry and ducks under plastic bags, all Diana wants to do is hide in the bathroom and yet Adam still follows Diana. Diana finally tells Adam that she is only thirteen years old.
