Demographics  Land area: 57, square miles (2000).  Located in the Southeastern United States, bordering Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina, along with the Atlantic Ocean.  Major Rivers - Chattahoochee River, Savannah River, Suwannee River Major Lakes - Lake Sidney Lanier, Clark Hill Lake, West Point Lake, Lake Hartwell Highest Point - Brasstown Bald (Col) Demographics and Geographic Information Race Amount of Population White65.0% Black30.2% American Indian and Alaska Native0.4% Asian3.0% *Facts according to the U.S. Census Bureau Geography  In 2009, there were an estimated 9,829,211 people living in Georgia.  There are persons per square mile (2000).
