MC-1 Building GPP Scope Construction split into two packages to expedite construction: Package A – MC-1 Building Site Prep ($742.5K FY13) Goal is to 1) relocate all utilities out of building excavation, and 2) perform all shutdown work during current shutdown Relocate/tap into utilities: Chilled Water Supply & Return (CHWS, CHWR) Domestic Water Supply (DWS) Gas (GAS) Industrial Cooling Water (ICW) Sanitary Sewer and new lift station (SAN) Electrical ductbank and manholes Communication ductbank and handholes Relocate Well Pond Road (shutdown work) Install cryo line supports and under-road piping (shutdown work)

MC-1 Building GPP Scope Package A – MC-1 Building Site Prep – CURRENT STATUS Cost Estimate: $1.096M – Low Bid: $742.5K Whittaker Construction Construction documents are located here: ftp://fess-ftp.fnal.gov/public/Projects/MC-1 Building/ A - Issued for Bids/ Notice of Intent & Storm Water & Pollution Prevention Plan (NOI & SWPPP) has been submitted to Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) on November 1, Construction can begin December 1, Revision No. 1 to incorporate entire Muon Campus including Mu2e approved. ftp://fess-ftp.fnal.gov/public/Projects/MC-1 Building/NOI & SWPPP/ Radiation Safety Drawings created for all work within the vicinity of the 8 GeV beamline.
