Jim Dine Jim Dine (born June 16, 1935 Cincinnati Ohio) is an American pop artist. He is sometimes considered to be a part of the Neo-Dada movement. Most known for tool drawings and self- portraits.

You will be working in the style of Jim Dine You will use pencil and charcoal. Tools should be accurately drawn! Scale and use of pencil/charcoal is up to you Avoid drawing with mechanical pencils You need to consider negative space. How do you make it interesting/tie the rest of the drawing to it without adding a traditional “background”? If you finish your first drawing you should be starting a second. Working through the process is important.
