2 What does “Stylized” mean? Following a particular style or method of painting - rather than trying to represent reality.

3 The style can be simple or more complex.

4 It can emphasize color or line.

5 Whatever style you choose it needs to be consistent through out the painting.

6 How do I find ideas for different styles? Look at different artists like Henri Rousseau.

10 ... Or Grandma Moses.

13 Think about different art movements, like Impressionism.

18 You will choose 2 of the elements to alter in some way. THE REST OF THE ELEMENTS STICK TO REALISM. What elements did this artist alter?

26 So, pick what you want to paint then: Write down which 2 elements you will alter. Describe exactly how you will alter them. Decide the steps you will go through to accomplish you art work. Draw some thumb nail sketches to plan composition.
