Don’t Tell Personal Information Don’t give out Address Telephone number Parents work address/ telephone number Name Location of my school without parents permission Internet password

Tell Your Parents When… Tell them right away when… I come across information that makes me uncomfortable. Someone you don’t know wants to “follow” you or talk to you. Before downloading software or content that will hurt our computer or invades my family privacy. Someone wants to meet up with you that you don’t know.

Type Nice! Ignore mean comments that make you uncomfortable. Don’t post or write anything that might hurt other people’s feelings. If it’s a joke to you, think about everyone who will see it.

Have Fun! I will help my parents… Understand how to have fun online. Understand how to use new tools and games online. Teach them to use the Internet.
