National Programming AIM To Win Weight Loss CHALLENGE January 2011 Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is determined to get healthy and fit as an organization by launching the AIM to Win Weight Loss Challenge! As CHAPTERS, we will support our J&J chapter sisters as we AIM To Win As MEMBERS, we will individually compete within chapters and contribute to the Chapter and Regional Level Challenges Jack and Jill National Fitness Day Spring 2012 The J&J National Fitness Day will be a nationwide event where every chapter across the country participates in a fun and exciting fitness extravaganza where our families and the communities we serve will come together and celebrate fitness. As CHAPTERS, we will host or participate in an athletic event (i.e. 1K Family Fun Run, Race for the Cure, ) and include our community partners and youth in our day of fitness! As MEMBERS, we will commit to participating in and supporting the event. Jack and Jill Healthy Living Cookbook Fall 2011 Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will design a national cookbook comprised of our best healthy recipes. As CHAPTERS, we will ensure we are properly represented by submitting our best healthy and nutritious recipes for consideration. As MEMBERS, we will work with our families to gather and submit our healthy recipes. Jack & Jill Across America Spring 2011 Jack and Jill Across America will require every chapter’s participation as we march across the country from coast to coast in activity steps as an organization. As CHAPTERS, we will encourage members and their families to reach their individual and our chapter goals to ensure our success. As MEMBERS, we will track the activities of our families as we collectively accumulate steps that will assist in reaching our goal of crossing America by our 2012 National Convention.

Jack and Jill Programming  Our National theme provides focus and AIM for much more significant and far reaching programming and community initiatives. “Achieving Excellence, Inspiring Greatness, and Motivating Our Youth to Lead and Serve! ”  Together we will: AIM for awareness and provide education for a healthier lifestyle AIM for expanded youth leadership development AIM for expanded youth financial awareness and wealth

Programming Excellence J&J age group activities during the program year should include an activity in each of the following areas: Educational Recreational Social Leadership development should also have a major emphasis Teen leadership Modules Accountability & Responsibility Confidence Communications / Public Speaking Integrity & Ethics Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution Self-Discipline Trust & Respect Vision Community Service should be emphasized Children should be encouraged to become lifelong community servants Cultural Civic Health Character Building Communications/Listening Goal Setting Legislative Risk-Taking Service & Sacrifice Utlizing Strengths Financial Literacy

Programming Excellence Habits and patterns established at this formative time will have a great influence on our children throughout their adult lives Good program planning requires teamwork No task is too difficult, nor time too great, to spend planning for and with our children. !!

Member Financial Responsibilities Every Jack and Jill of America, Inc. member is empowered to ensure all financial matters are in accordance with our governing documents. It is important that our financial governing documents are communicated and distributed such that each member comprehends the requirements binding on the financial officers. All members have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure the elected officers abide by standard operating procedures outlined in the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Financial Handbook. (Handbook is on the member portal of the J&J website)

Officer Financial Responsibility Elected Officers have a fiduciary responsibility to the members to account for all funds collected and distributed on their behalf of the organization and in accordance with their approved budget.
