ROBUST VOCABULARY

When you criticize something, you tell what you think is wrong with it. 1. When would a coach criticize a player? 2. What could someone criticize about a play? 3. What could someone criticize about a movie? criticize

dialogue Conversation between people is called dialogue. 1. When would a dialogue with your teacher help you? 2. What can a dialogue between two people show? 3. What kind of dialogue might there be between a doctor and nurse.

immerse To immerse oneself is to become very involved in something. 1. If you immerse yourself in a game, would you be paying attention to the TV? 2. What is the best way to immerse yourself in a book? 3. Describe a time when you immersed yourself in a movie.

mandatory Something that is mandatory is required. 1. Why is showing up on time a mandatory part of a job? 2. What is a mandatory part of school? 3. Is buying lunch at school or going to PE mandatory?
