Began as a college supporting the engineering industry over 80 years ago Continued links with industry Strong central support department One of the first on campus incubators Embedded in local community

Social Entrepreneur in Residence UnLtd awards Specialist mentors Social enterprise workshops Project based activity, eg Food Co- op Junk to Funk Enactus

Since September 2014 we have supported 23 social entrepreneurs. 9 social entrepreneurs at the ideas exploration stage. 4 new social enterprise start- ups and 8 in the pipeline. We have supported 4 existing social enterprise businesses

Regional partnership Intensive weekend ‘Lean’ start up methods and group discussions Groups supported by social entrepreneurs Social innovation
