1.WHEN THE VERB IN THE MAIN CLAUSE EXPRESSES JUDGMENT, EMOTION, DOUBT OR INFLUENCE UPON THE VERB IN THE SECOND CLAUSE

2.WHEN THE VERB IN THE SECOND CLAUSE IS NOT REALITY YET RELATIVE TO THE MAIN CLAUSE

AND

3. IN “IF CLAUSES” WHEN: CONTRARY-TO-FACTCONTRARY-TO-FACT [si + past subjunctive] + conditional “COMO SI” + always past subjunctive“COMO SI” + always past subjunctive INDICATIVE WHEN: If A happens, B will follow. [si + present indicative]+future/command/present] BUT
