Food & Beverage Visit Scotland Awards Ceremony

Guten Tag Good Afternoon!

Introduction/Einführung I have been asked to organise the Food and Beverage supplied at an Awards Ceremony for Visit Scotland. The menu will be themed around Scotland, including traditional Scottish produce My menu has to include a vegetarian option and a special meal for coeliac sufferer

There will be a choice of either: Sweet Potato and Lentil soup - suitable for vegetarians and coeliac sufferers. or - Traditional Scottish soup - Cullen Skink Starter

Main Course Haggis with a neeps and tatties tikki. Vegetarian option - Spiced vegetarian Haggis parcel with Scottish Potato scone, neep ’n’ tat tie crisps and wee dram pearls. coeliac - special dietary option - Hot smoked Salmon with Avocado salsa Haggis with a neeps and tatties tikki. Dessert Hot Whiskey and marmalade pudding with Drambuie custard(gluten free pudding will be used) Oatmeal shortbread, whiskey chocolate, scottish marinated raspberries and whiskey caramel

Arrival Drinks On arrival guests will have the choice of various different cocktails ‘ The Flying Scotsman ’ = Includes whiskey, italian vermouth, one tablespoon bitters and a tablespoon of sugar syrup ‘Tae a Grouse’ = Includes famous grouse whiskey ‘Thistle Mojito’ = Includes white rum, whiskey All of these cocktails will be available in a ‘non -alcoholic’ form On
