Timelines AGOs are variable; announcements only occur if monies are available within a particular budget year. Nonpoint Program and Watershed Project grant proposals drafts are due to DEP on June 1. The State usually sends its entire grant to EPA by mid August. The State receives comments back from EPA usually within two months; depending on the information requested it may take several months to correct and re-submit the grant application.

The Award is usually received from EPA by late spring or early summer depending upon many factors of the review process, the federal budget etc. The State issues sub-grants to partners that submitted watershed project proposals as well as sub-grants to our agency partners that support the mission of the NPS Program. 319 Grants are five years in length; however only four years is available for implementation. They must be completed before Sept. 30 th of the last year. Grant awards
