Career Clusters are 16 broad categories that encompass virtually all occupations from entry through professional levels. Career Clusters are an educational and career planning tool to help students select courses that will best prepare them for their future careers.

A Career Pathway is a planned sequence of courses that leads to a college degree, industry recognized certificate, or license. A student who successfully completes 4 credits in a Career & Technical Education Career Pathway.

The purpose of Career Majors and Career Pathways is to help students select high school courses that will best prepare them for their future careers. In selecting courses, most "elective" courses should be focused in one or two disciplines (subjects) and be career goal oriented. All students, regardless of your diploma track, are encouraged to complete one or more CAREER MAJORS.
