NCAA Education Column Published October 21, 2014 Meals and snacks that are provided incidental to athletic participation are not intended to replace meals that would normally be provided through dinning plan or off-campus board stipend.

NCAA Education Column Legislation does not permit institutions to systematically circumvent the normal application of financial aid legislation. –It is not permissible to tell current student- athletes or PSA that their board is covered via meals incidental to athletic participation. –It is not permissible to consistently provide student-athletes with both, a meals stipend and meals incidental to participation. (Double dipping, providing 24-hour access to meals)

Group Discussion Brief description of refueling/meal program. NCAA education column Training Table Any feedback from financial aid offices.
