Jan 2nd and 3rd Students who are not missing any work and are passing the class with a 70% or higher get to watch the film, The Patriot. Students with missing work or with a grade lower than a 70%, will have the entire class to redo assignments.

The Continental Congress meets in Philadelphia, PA to discuss what to do. They decide to write the Declaration of Independence, the most epic of all break-up letters.

Today we will Complete our understanding of the Battle of the American Revolution Examine life as an apprentice in the 1770s Study for our Unit test that is next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today in class…. We will split into 2 groups: Group 1 will be covering the Battle of the American Revolution on Edmodo.com Group 2 will be playing Mission US (YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT)- questions to answer are on Edmodo.com We will switch after 30 mins.

Battles of the American Revolution Log-on to Edmodo.com Complete the assignment with your clump I will assign one person in each group to be the writer/typer. At the end of 45 minutes, turn in your assignment on Edmodo.com, make sure everyone's name is on the assignment.

After the war The Continental Congress will meet to decide how the new country should be ran. If you were to run your own country, what kind of laws do you feel would be most important? Come up with 5 laws as a group. Write the laws down and sign if everyone at your table agrees.
