4 Things HOME No One Told You About Working From

Created by: Hannah Horning Marketing Associate at ArcherPoint, LLC Psychology Enthusiast Active Blogger

Working from home is AMAZING!

There is no commute, you control the temperature, and you never have to hear a colleague chew their food…ever!

Working from home can be LONELY. On the Flip Side

Working from home can be LONELY. On the flip side You may go for days on end without seeing another person.

Working from home can be LONELY. On the flip side You may go days on end without seeing another person. Tom from HR, whom you don’t even like, is looking pretty good when you’re going on day 3 of no human contact.

You never get dressed.

Trust me when I tell you, your wardrobe is going to suffer. All you will want to wear are sweatpants, t-shirts, and more sweatpants.

You can work from anywhere...

Oh, sweet freedom!

Sure you can work from anywhere. Feel free to get creative, but not too creative.

On the Flip Side… You NEED an office!

On the flip side You NEED an office! With a desk.

On the flip side You NEED an office! With a desk. How productive can you really be squinting to see your computer screen, laying out by the pool?

You have a flexible schedule.

“ ” Need an extra half an hour to go grocery shopping and to UPS on your lunch break? That’s okay, you have time for that. But remember: Don’t make it a habit!

You need to have a set work schedule. On the Flip Side

Otherwise, you will never work, your boss be very unhappy with you, and bad things will happen.

THANK YOU!
