If your exhibits require water, you may take water from the centre's public toilets. Take care in handling your exhibit during transport. Respect the workspace you have been given and try to work within your work area Do not disturb other participants or touch the other exhibits. What to do on judging day Make sure you come on the correct day (either 18 or 19 Aug), and take note of your reporting timing. All team members are to wear the ASXC T-shirts distributed on 17 Aug Upon arrival, register at the counter located at Science Centre’s main entrance. Upon registration, please follow signs to the Maxwell auditorium. Please wait at Maxwell auditorium until you are called upon by the competition ushers. While waiting for your turn, do relax, visit the toilets and prepare yourselves mentally. Competition ushers will escort or direct you to the Annexe where judging take place – once there you will be given further instructions. At this point, you are not allowed to visit the toilets or wander around the competition area. You are to keep your volume down, and wait quietly for your turn. Your teachers will not be allowed in the competition area. Someone will call you to your exhibit booth to meet the judges. Once the judges release you, please leave the competition hall immediately.

Tips for Judging Day Please be reminded of the Rules and Requirements of the competition e.g. physical science theme, maximum exhibit dimensions, 1 poster etc. Your exhibit should be a stand-alone, self-explanatory exhibit, just like any you would find at Science Centre. Hence, the judges will be previewing and starting to judge your exhibit in your absence. After the judges’ preview, your team will be invited to your exhibit booth to meet the judges. You are not allowed to give a prepared presentation.
