Communist China By Dearis Clark abighairyspider.blogspot.com

Mao Zedong Biography Mao Zedong was a Chinese statesman whose status as a revolutionary in world history is probably next only to that of Vladimir Lenin. Mao Zedong helped to reshape the social and political structures of his ancient and heavily populated country. He followed Buddhism. Leader of Buddhism, Mother wanted him to have a religious career.

Great Leap Forward Mao had toured China and concluded that the Chinese people were capable of anything and the two primary tasks that he felt they should target was industry and agriculture. Mao announced a second Five Year Plan to last from 1958 to This plan was called the Great Leap Forward. The great leap forward planned to develop agriculture and industry. Mao believed that both had to grow to allow the other to grow. China was reformed into a series of communes.

Cultural Revolution The Cultural Revolution had a massive impact on china from 1965 to The Culture Revolution is the name given to Mao’s attempt to reassert his beliefs in China. Mao had been less than a dynamic leader from the late 1950’s on, and feared others in the party might be taking on a leading role that that weakened his power within the party and the country. Cultural revolution – it was an attempt Mao to re-impose his authority on the party and therefore the country.

Tiananmen Square It shows that a man stand because he is tired of communism. ramblingsofpassion.wordp ress.com

Chinese Economy They had a communist government that is why the Tiananmen Square happened. They are the second largest growing country the United State is the first. World fastest-growing major economy. The 19th century was a period of economic and social crisis in Chinese history. However, the rebellions, rising for hope to improve to situation, not only failed to reach a plausible solution to the social crisis, but also contributed in exacerbating the situation.
