Uranus was the first planet discovered in modern times. It was discovered by William Herschel while systematically searching the sky with his telescope on March 13, Uranus has been visited by only one space craft.

Uranus is made out of water, ammonia and methane. The diameter, which is the length across the middle is 25,362 km.

Uranus has 13 rings around it they were discovered by James Elliot and Edward Mink.
