Requirements are met when: A) The safety dostance of acessiable movable parts is either ≤ 8 mm or ≥ 25 mm in any position during movement B) Acessiable corners are rounded with minimum 2 mm radius C) The edges of the seat, back rest and arm rest which are in contact with user when sitting in the chair are rounded with minimum 2 mm radius

Requirements are met when: D) The edges of handles are rounded with minimum 2 mm radius in the direction of the force applied E) All other edges are free from burrs and rounded or chamfered F) The end of acessiable hollow components are closed or capped

Dimensional requirements – Visitors chair Fixed seat height: mm Adjustable seat height: mm Seat depth: mm Seat depth: minimum 400 mm Distance between arm rests: min. 460 mm

Safety requirements – visitors chair 1) Minimize the risk of injury to the user 2) All parts shall be designed so that physical injury and damage are avoided

Requirements are met when: A) Edges of seat, back rest and arm rest which are in contact with user when sitting in the seating are rounded or chamfered and all other edges acessible during use are free from burrs and/or sharp edges B) Ends of hollow components are closed or capped

Requirements are met when: C) Movable and adjustable parts shall be designed so that injuries and inadvertent operation are avoided.
