University for All Why IT? 2  Information Technology (IT) is the component of a technology involving the development, maintenance, and use of computer systems, software, and networks for the processing and distribution of data  IT professionals strive to solve business/enterprise problems using computing resources  IT plays an important role in shaping our daily lives, both at work and at home  The role of IT will be further enhanced as the business frontiers extend beyond any expected horizon  A postgraduate Master degree in IT will be a valuable asset for the IT/IS professionals in positioning themselves in the challenging IT world

University for All Why 3  The Master of Information Technology (MIT) at OUM offers an opportunity to enhance your managerial and technical competencies in the challenging field of information technology and become the future knowledge workers;  It gives the balance between the theory and application; and  The skills and knowledge gained in MIT are transferable across industries.

University for All Objectives of the MIT Programme 4 At the end of the programme, graduates should be able to: i. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of essential facts, concepts, principles, and theories relating to Information Technology; ii. Apply theoretical principles of Information Technology in relevant areas; iii. Design, implement and manage Information Technology solutions and resources, and recognize the impact of technology on individuals, organisation and society; and iv. Integrate various technology solutions.

University for All Entry requirements 5  Bachelor's Degree with minimum CGPA 2.50 or its equivalent in any field of study; OR  Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any field of study with CGPA less than 2.50 and 5 years relevant working experiences; OR  Flexible Entry: 35 years old with STPM / recognized Diploma / Matriculation or equivalent qualifications with relevant work experiences. University for All Project 10  Each student is required to complete 6 credit hours of project work in the specialised field of his/her choice

University for All Learning Methodology 11 Blended Learning Self-Managed Learning Where learners study independently according to availability of time. Online Learning Electronic communication tools such as , bulletin board and chat rooms provide to facilitate interaction among learners, tutors and facilitators. Face-to-Face Interaction Face-to-face tutorial sessions conducted at Learning Centres during weekends.

University for All Learning Methods Self-Managed Learning (90 hours)  Study independently according to time availability.  Textbook, customized Course Guide, and compilation of materials. 2. Scheduled Seminars (15 hours)  Conducted by facilitators (professors/experts in the industry). Seminars (3 hours per session) 5 times per semester per course in KL. 3. On-Line Collaborative Learning (15 hours)  On-line group discussion on case studies and project work.
