We have one open gym Tuesday, October 22 nd from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. This is not mandatory and will not be organized instruction per state rules. It’s more important they are in shape than how much basketball they have recently played.

 Thursday October 16 th in Coach Sarah Meeks Room in 110 at 7:00 a.m. The meeting will be over in 15 minutes.  Our First Practice will be November 3rd. View the calendar for times. They are different depending on level. Practices are open for all parents with few limitations. Calendar:

Try-Out Criteria: - 4 days of try-outs - 12/3, 12/4, 12/5 and 12/6 - Be in shape and ready to run - Fundamentals – dribbling/shooting/passing - Basketball Sense – knowing the basic rules - Attitude – willingness to learn - Effort – willingness to work hard - 12/6 – Cuts - Will talk to each girl - Explain why being kept/cut -Select Players will be notified to tryout for JV team after the first day of practice Season Expectations: -Be at ALL practices -Practice schedule is already set -Saturday morning skill and drills during the season -Be responsible with Academics – grade checks will be done throughout the year -Must Practice to Play -Practices -Must have practice jerseys everyday for practice. Jerseys will be provided the first week. -Playing Time – philosophy is applied differently on different levels
