Phase 2 BEGINS!... Work with your team to make decisions regarding the topics that follow this slide. When you are finished, create a PPT or other types of visual marketing material to help tell the story of your team. Make sure you note the evaluation section at the end of the presentation.

FF Ball Team Name Now that you’ve decided where your team will call home, your team must decide on a team name. Your team must also provide information about WHY you made this choice. Facts to convey: What does this name convey?… What does this name convey?… Why does it fit well with your new team in your new city?... Why does it fit well with your new team in your new city?...

Team Colors Here you will unveil what your team colors will be. You will need to EXPLAIN why you chose the colors you did, and what your colors will embody for your team. A visual is necessary…this visual will NOT be a perfect representation (that will come later!) but it should be CLOSE to an image that you envision with your team’s colors. (i.e., it could be an example of how you envision your team’s uniform, possibly an example of a fan t-shirt or hat, etc.

The Mascot The mascot is a visual representation of your team. On this slide you will describe and visually depict an image of your new mascot. Mascots typically have a story; in addition to providing a visual representation of your mascot, you will need to TELL ITS STORY. (i.e., See the following link for examples:

Team Logo Here you will need to provide a visual representation AND explanation of your team’s logo. In this slide your audience should find answers to the following questions: Why was this image chosen? Why was this image chosen? What is it supposed to depict? What is it supposed to depict? In what ways will this logo be used? In what ways will this logo be used?

Team Slogan Here you will reveal your NFL team’s slogan. This slide should provide evidence that you understand the concept and purpose of a slogan. You will need to explain the meaning of your team’s slogan and provide direction on where and how this slogan will be used.

Team Theme Song Your team theme song will be disclosed here. You’ll need to explain not only WHY you chose the particular song, but why you chose that particular genre of music. You will need to provide a sample of the song. It should be played on low (either behind your PPT at the introduction of the slide show or through another means as you give your presentation.)
