The UK is an island placed in the north of Europe. It’s formed by England, Wales, Scotland and Nothern Ireland. The capital of The Uk is London.

English buses In London, the buses are usually red and they can have two desks. In this case they’re called double-decker buses. Let’s get on a bus and visit London!

Tower Bridge This is Tower Bridge. It was built over the River Thames in London in It is a bascule bridge in London, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become a symbol of London.

Tower of London The Tower of London was a fortress, a royal palace and a prison. The Tower of London has also served as a place of execution, torture, an armoury, a treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, a public records office, an observatory, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom.

The Houses of Parliament The Houses of Parliament is the home of the Government of the United Kingdom and it consists of the House of Commons (elected) and the House of Lords (not elected- hereditary and nominated). Big Ben Big Ben is the name of the main bell housed within the Clock Tower. The Clock Tower is the largest four-faced, chiming clock in the world and it is situated at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London.

Westminster Abbey Westminster Abbey is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarchs. Westminster Abbey is next to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

Saint Paul’s Cathedral Since 604 there has always been a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul which overlooks the City of London. The current St Paul’s Cathedral is the fourth to occupy this site. The British Museum The British Museum is one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects, are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents.
