The Needs, The Seeds, The Pleads Psalms 126:6 – Matthew 16:18

Psalms 126:6 He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Psalms. 126:5-6 5 Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.

I.The church is called to care – See the Need

Rom. 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

II.The church is called to share – Sow the seed – God’s word

Psalms 126:6 He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Rom. 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1.ADMIT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER

Rom. 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

2.THE WAGES OF THAT SIN IS DEATH

Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3.PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Rom. 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

4.ANYONE CAN BE SAVED

Rom. 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the L ORD shall be saved.”

II.The church is called to make the heirs – see them freed – this is God’s promise!

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Galatians 6:6-9 6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Romans 8: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

James 4:14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

Romans 10: How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, [a] Who bring glad tidings of good things!”a

III. What must our church do to see people in our community saved?

A.First we must care – a heart of compassion

B. Second we must share God’s word – sow the seed of the word

C. Third we will see them as heirs – you will see them freed

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
