To form the “TÚ COMMAND”, 1. Conjugate the verb to match the “tú” form 2. Drop the final “-S” (tú) hablar  hablas  (tú) comer  comes  (tú) abrir  abres  habla come abre

You will change e  ie, o  ue, and e  i in commands dormir (o  ue): duermes  vestir (e  i): vistes  calentar (e  ie): calientas  duerme viste calienta

You will use negative commands to tell informal people what NOT to do. There are 3 easy steps to conjugate a NEGATIVE TÚ COMMAND:

Step 1: Conjugate the verb into the “YO” form Comer  no __________como Salir  no _________salgo Hablar  no ________hablo

Step 2: Drop the final “-o” Comer  no __________com Salir  no ___________salg Hablar  no ________habl
