Federal Aviation Administration 4 AIP FY 2010 Guidance March 4, 2010 FAA FY 2010 Authorization X Continuing Resolution (Again and Again) “Fiscal Year 2010 Federal Aviation Administration Extension Act Part I” signed September 2009 –October 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009 “Fiscal Year 2010 Federal Aviation Administration Extension Act Part II” signed December 16, 2009 –Public Law –Authorizes the AIP from January 1 to March 31, 2010 –Requires Calculation of Available Funds Based on 50% of $4.0B –Extends the Aviation Excise Tax in support of the Airport and Airway Trust Fund through March 31,2010 –Includes authority to make expenditures from the Airport and Airway Trust Fund through March 31, 2010 FAA 2010 AIP Program
