Having a great second semester: How to Survive Spring Semester! By: Alex Goran

.) Start Strong As you should every semester, Spring semester is VERY important. Towards the end of the semester it will get warm, spring break will come around, and all you will want to do is go outside. The lure to explore will increase. If you do well at the start of semester you can afford to play outside a bit when it gets warm.

.) Use what you know You’ve had a semester to work out the kinks. For the most part you know what works and you know what doesn’t. Be smart and apply the successes and even the failures to this spring semester.

.) Clean Up Spring is a great time to get fresh… Get rid of some of the old clutter from fall. Sure throw away those old notes and maybe wipe down the counter. During spring you want avoid getting sick so clean the apartment and get rid of the germs.

.) NEW YEAR NEW YOU If your having trouble making change for yourself! Use the new year as a reason to be different or change any bad habits. Make your new years resolution small and specific. General goals are hard to achieve. Example: Apply for 5 internships.

.) PLAN PLAN PLAN This is great time to make sure your classes and career are on track! This is no time to avoid messing up classes and delaying your graduation. Get into contact with your advisor… trust me it will pay off !! TAKE SMALL EFFORT NOW TO ENSURE A SMOOTH ROAD IN THE FUTURE.
