Where are the roots?
They go under ground to soak up nutrients from the soil!
Roots can be above ground too! They are STRONG to hold up the tree!
Where is the trunk?
The trunk is tall to help the tree reach sunlight!
The trunk carries nutrients from the roots to the branches and leaves
Where are the branches?
Branches hold up leaves!
Branches also hold up fruits!
Branches also hold up seeds that grow flowers and fruits!
Where are the leaves?
The leaves soak up sunlight!
Sunlight from the leaves gives trees energy!
