Schedule – Under 11 – Wednesday night 4.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. – Under 13 – Wednesday night 5.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. & Tuesday night (optional) – Under 15 – Thursday night 4.30 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Coaching – New dedicated coaching panel Cancellation – Training will be cancelled if it has reached 35 by 3.00 p.m. – ABC radio – Rain - we will send notification where possible Training

Match format – Under 11’s – single day matches, 24 overs per side – Under 13’s & under 15’s – 1 and 2 day matches Playing format – Bowling – 2 overs per player in younger sides – Batting U11’s - retire at 25 or if not out after 4 overs U13’s – retire at 25 (1 day) or 35 (2 days) – Batsmen that reach maximum overs return first, followed by maximum scorers – Bowling and batting orders, and team captain are rotated each week Start times – Friday nights: 4.15 p.m. arrival for 5.00 p.m. start – Saturday & Sunday mornings: 8.15 a.m. arrival for 8.45 a.m. start Game day

Dress code – Club shirt and long white cricket pants – White runners or cricket shoes – Club cap on arrival and during warm-up, wide-brim hat optional for fielding – Plain white cricket jumpers, club jackets available, no windcheaters – Sun screen is supplied, but water bottle is mandatory Equipment – Individual protectors and cricket bats are recommended – Team kits are supplied, including helmets – Clearly name everything – Buying tips – see our website, or speak to one of the coaches Essential equipment for parents – a comfortable chair! Game day

When is too hot? – Morning games - when the temperature has reached 30 by 8.00 a.m. – Afternoon games - when the temperature has reached 35 by 4.00 p.m. When is it too wet? – Both teams must agree that a game is washed out – A game maybe cancelled if the ground is slippery and dangerous – Bring a rag to dry the ball on damp days! Notification of cancellation – Both team coaches must agree to cancellation – Unless you receive notification from your coach, you must turn-up to the ground – A team failing to arrive will forfeit the game, even if the match is cancelled Game day

Rostered roles – Scoring – Ground set-up and general support – Morning tea (Home games, both sides) Every week – Encouraging all the players – Supporting the team coach and manager – Creating an atmosphere that engenders the game being played in a good spirit – Assist with match reports and team communications Please notify your Team Coach and Manager if you are away or ill Parents

Match set-up – Batting order – Bowling order – Set field placings – Selection of captain – Coin toss (home games) Lead catching and other warm-up drills Umpire Liaison with opposition coach, including cancellation Team coach

Scoring and refreshments roster Ground set-up (home games) Managing team when batting – Ensure kids are padding up – Encourage those not batting to support their team mates Upload scores to My Cricket – We are fined $10 per late score Social event for team Sponsorship Team manager
