3 2016 Season Review 1st XI avoided relegation from Premier league on last day 2nd XI finished mid-table in Division 6 Kwik cricket on Sunday morning ran with success and good numbers, along with very successful Friday evening sessions. The under 13 team are the only junior hardball team, playing in both the league and friendlies. Under 17 team folded due to lack of numbers Under 15 team was not entered again due to lack of numbers

4 1st XI & 2nd XI 2017 Plans 1st XI will aim to win every competition we enter in 2017 2nd XI will aim to gain promotion from division 5 in 2017 and target more promotions in future. Target division for 2nd XI is to be division 3 New players are required to boost squad in both numbers and quality Assess and give chances for best young 2nd XI players to play in 1st XI Create a more professional environment Structured training sessions to take place on Thursday evenings Current young players to be in an environment where they can develop their games to ensure they are of the quality to play in the Premier league Club and team atmosphere to be created both on and off field

5 Introducing Rob Taylor

6 Director of Cricket – What is Rob’s role?
Rob will oversee the cricket side of the club and give guidance Organisation of winter/summer training sessions Help with selection of the senior teams and speak to players regarding selection Build a strong relationship with junior managers and create links between junior and senior cricket

7 Rob will be available for 1:1 and group sessions
Coaching Rob will create an environment that is enjoyable but challenging so that individuals can become the best cricketers and individuals they can be Rob will be available for 1:1 and group sessions Rob will aim to be based at RSA or Welland Park during the winter and at MHCC during the summer

8 Overall Club– Main goals: 2017 and beyond
Create a competitive and successful 1st and 2nd team To run successful kwik cricket, U11 Hardball, U13 and U15 teams in 2017 and target to run all potential junior teams before 2019 To create a clear pathway for juniors to senior cricket Increase our women's participation To find sponsors for both senior and junior sections To run 2-3 club fundraising events throughout the year To create a buoyant social and off field atmosphere To organise a fully paid up membership base

9 Junior Cricket Kwik cricket will continue on Sunday mornings and Friday nights Hardball training sessions to be moved to Thursday evenings Academy of 8-10 junior players to be set up to allow more technical coaching to be given (winter 2017) Sponsor for the junior section

11 Volunteers required To achieve our aims we will need to fill the roles below Kwik cricket coaches for Sunday mornings – ideally senior players, can be done on rota basis Assistant coaches for Thursday training 2nd XI scorer – can be done on rota or for full season, ideally suited to keen junior player, includes small payment and a GREAT tea!! Sponsorship Team – to actively go out and fill the available sponsorship(s) for the club Fundraising Team – we are looking to run 1 or 2 events during the year and are looking for a team of people to plan and run these events Host nights – we are looking to run after games events during the season, with each night ran by a different senior player with the aim of bring new faces to the ground
