PARKS FOR PEOPLE Reconnecting families with National Parks and nature Helping families to explore our own parks, go camping, reconnect with nature and have fun in an affordable way

3 FIRE Manage lands under our care to protect communities and built and natural assets from bushfires. 4 SUSTAINABLE USE Manage access to the lands and waters under our care and the state’s biodiversity for sustainable uses including tourism and wood production.  Work with Tourism WA through Naturebank to prepare sites for tourist accommodation  Work with tourism industry to promote domestic tourism opportunities 2 WILDLIFE Conserve, protect and manage the state’s native fauna and flora based on best practice science. 1 PARKS Establish and manage the state’s system of national parks, marine parks, State forests and other terrestrial and marine reserves.  Improve facilities and experiences for visitors  Create new high-quality, affordable accommodation for families in the south and mid- west DEPARTMENTAL GOALS
