Our Base animal  Our base animal is a panda.  Pandas are animals with white and black fur.  Pandas are endangered.

Baby Pandas  Pandas have little fur when they are born.

What do Pandas eat ?  Pandas eat bamboo. It grows on trees.  They also eat fish.  They are omnivores because they eat plants and meat.

More Panda Facts  Pandas can reach weights of 250 to 300 pounds.  Female pandas can have one to three cubs at a time.  Pandas normally live in China.

Our New Animal’s Habitat The rainforest is a wet damp land with a lot of rainfall.

Our Pandas New Adaptation  Our panda has little fur because it is very hot and humid in the rainforest.  Our panda is green and black to camouflage itself in the rain forest canopies.  It has long claws to climb trees so that it can reach the tall tops of the bamboo.
